Mrs. Jack, was on her way back from work, tired and exhausted trying to forget office stress. Thinking about her serene bed and a sumptuous food on her dinning table, she smiled and heaved a sigh of relief, home sweet home. Only for her to open the sitting room door, expecting the usual rush and hugs and questions and counter questions about anything from her cute little girl Lola, and her brother Lakky, but she was met with a tensed atmosphere. Cold and sad children with a frustrated and stern husband cum dad. Her daughter Lola, 5 years old was sobbing uncontrollably. She flung her bag as her sister collects her lap top. She looked around and everyone muttered a tensed welcome, of course she could not respond, still trying to understand the situation. Her husband barked at the little girl as she was about standing to hug her mum. "Will you sit down there and finish that work before I give you another one!" He turned to face his perplexed wife, "honey this your over spoilt child, does not know anything! Imagine how much we pay for school fees, yet she cannot add up 4+5, we have been on this for the past one hour, she refused to count or write.
Angry, tired and sad, Mrs. Jack fought every thing in her to control how she was feeling.
